Terminology

For the purposes of this agreement (the 'Agreement'), the Platform is referred to as 'we', 'us', or 'our'. Users and other visitors to the Platform are referred to as 'you', 'your', or 'User'. Collectively, 'we' and 'you' are the 'Parties', and each individually is a 'Party'.

Processing and Retention Period for Personal Information

We will process and retain your personal data for as long as required by law, or for the period agreed at the time we collected it from you.

Cooperation with law enforcement authorities in investigations.

Generally, we retain your personal data for 18 months after you delete your account, or if it is deactivated due to misuse. This period allows for any reviews by financial institutions or investigations by public authorities. This Agreement governs all Users conducting transactions on the Pilíř Evolux Global website and its mobile app (the 'Platform'). Users must adhere to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to personal information and data protection in their respective country or region.

Invocation

All references in this Agreement to codes, statutory decrees, or administrative regulations are to the latest amended version, whether amended before or after this Agreement was signed.

The headings in this Agreement are provided solely for convenience and must not be used to interpret the terms and conditions. All references to statements, terms, conditions, annexes, or schedules pertain only to those contained in this Agreement.

Users acknowledge that the Platform may use cookies to monitor their activity while using the Platform and to collect various data, including, without limitation, IP addresses, geographic locations, and other relevant information. For example, we may use video (including audio) recordings to verify the identities of P2P merchants and as evidence in P2P order disputes. Additionally, facial video (including audio) information may be used for Pilíř Evolux identity verification on third-party platforms..

Limitation of Liability

Although the Platform implements technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that data sent over the internet is completely secure. Therefore, we do not make any warranties about the security of the personal information you provide, and we cannot be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your personal data.

Amendments to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement at any time. If we revise the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the update, including the new effective date and details of the changes.
